So my pair of sunglasses that was miraculously recovered in Wellington is now gone for good it seems. I lost it in the corridor between the plane and customs when arriving in Fiumicino two days ago. Just in case you ever end up in the same situation, let me tell you where you have to be to look for lost items like that, it’ll save you about two hours. *Don’t* go to the lost luggage booth of your airliner, also *don’t* go to the lost property office in the main arrival hall. Oh no. Where you have to be, is behind conveyor belt 11. “Behind” is kinda blurry since these things are circular in Fiumicino, but it’s easy : just look for a pair of doors with *no* indication whatsoever as to what they are there for. Go in - and you’ll find a bunch of really friendly people that are more than willing to assist you in your search. Their good mood is very likely related to the fact that almost no one ever finds them. Anyway … no sunglasses.
Work wise the Accenture event went really well - good demo, room was packed. People actually had to stand up - and stayed for the whole duration of the demo. Neat.
Also did partner enablement training in Turkey last week - Istanbul. Pics on facebook.
