Sydney Australia - “Kowalski - status?”

With about 10k of clothes soaking it up downstairs in the hotel laundry facility (crafting this blog post is actually interrupted several times for jay laundry related operations), it’s time to step back and make an assessment now that “operation Delta” is about 50% completed. Singapore partner enablement - seems ages ago already - ended with the whole class taking the beta version of the upcoming Orchestrator certification exam … as I was responsible for a non negligible amount of the questions I’m actually pretty curious about how this went down - but we only will get the results a few weeks from now - bummer. The past week I delivered training for partners and Novell consultants in Australia. We have some really interesting projects going on down here, I need to see if we cannot leverage some of them for public success stories - at least one of them is too good to not at least try it.

Working in this time zone is not easy, as conference calls usually take place at night, which takes its toll on you. I’m one of those pansies that need about 7 hours of sleep a day, preferably in one go. Anyway my days in OZ are counted - leaving for Wellington tomorrow, will be working on the supercomputer project there and I also have to present at a Gen-i conference in Auckland. After that it’s Tokyo - never been to Tokyo - should be interesting - heard some stories.  Now if you’ll excuse me, I have some ironing to take care of …
